We go to Tony's 2-3x a month. I could really eat there everyday. The service and ambiance is fun and charming. This was one of the first places I visited when I moved to the St Charles area. For the traveling through: 1. Ask for mozzarella on your pizza, [they use provel cheese, it's an acquired taste] 2. Ask for pizza well done, [undercooked, chewy is the STL style] 3. Ask to sit on the patio or sit upstairs, the service seems better at the upstairs bar.

Best restaurant in the St. Louis region! We've been eating dinner here for 25+ years and love everything about the place.

We were seated upstairs right away. Our drinks were delicious! We ordered cheesy bread and potato skins for appetizers--yumm! My chicken wrap was fantastic and my family all loved their food. We will be back!

Nice happy hour specials. A proper old fashion for $7. We had a party of 12 for a birthday service was great. Food is good, didn't get any pics was too busy gabbing. I will have to agree with some of the other reviews that salad dressings are watered down. The French dressing on my salad was a pale color and very watery like my lettuce was in a pool. Steak and shrimp was excellent but they do tend to "over sauce" all dishes. Take a look at other pics you will see what I am sharing. I Will start asking for my sauces on the side in future visits. But all in a solid choice for a meal or drink if down on Main Street.

A follow up review. Ate at Tony's on Top with my oldest daughter. Food was great, it was her first time sitting at a bar, so great to see other teens. This place is a jem.

This is an updated review from 2023. Visited here on 7/7/24 and note that they are closed on Mondays and the rest of the week they open at 4 pm. They have a full bar , happy hour specials and a great menu sure to please almost everyone.Service was great as was the food. Salad was fresh and loves the sweet Italian dressing , the Chicken Modiga was absolutely fantastic! Lightly breaded chicken breast covered with provel cheese white wine sauce, mushrooms and prosciutto served with my side of garlic mashed potatoes . The Lemon Drop Martini was a nice accompaniment.

I absolutely love this place. The food is great. Especially their white chicken nachos. I always go for Franks combo which is steak and six large shrimp in garlic sauce. My daughter gets Hannah's combo which is steak and chicken and delicious. I avoid their pasta because it's a ton of sauce and a few noodles lol They used to have the greatest scalloped potatoes. They were in a little tin with lots of cheese. Now it seems they make them in bulk and put them on a plate but they are not near as good. They put a ton of dressing in salads too so if you like a little like me just get the dressing in the side. Tony's is always busy. They do have a reservation system now which is great. The service is hit and miss. Sometimes it is great, sometimes you get basic service that you can't complain about because the table was waited in but that's all you can say and sometimes the servers can be flat out rude. Tony's is pricey and we don't go too often because others in the family have tried lots of items and just don't care for all the sauces and fattening items and you will be full when you leave. We went this last time for my daughter's birthday and she loves Tony's as do I but it isn't a place you'd go to for craving just a nice steak at a reasonable price. Overall I still love Tony's and my one recommendation would be to go back to making the scalloped potatoes the way they used to... they are not as good now as they were. I highly recommend Tony's. I promise you will have a great meal.

My family and I came here for lunch in a Saturday. We had 6 adults and a baby who needed a booster seat. The hostess was very nice and gave us a table with plenty of space for the booster seat. Our waitress was very friendly and came by often to check in on us. Our waitress was also very patient considering my nephew knocked over a cup of water. For an appetizer we got the shrimp and artichoke dip. This was delicious. My husband who isn't a big fan of artichokes even liked it. For my entree I got the Cajun shrimp and it was delicious. Be warned it was spicy so if you're not a fan of spicy this might not be for you. I loved the pasta with it. My husband got the Main Street burger, and he really enjoyed it. Overall, all our food was good!
